hiking in the canyon

in the midst of a big, big move life is surprisingly slow. we are hiking. maybe enjoying every last minute of my beloved canyon. hoping i am doing the right thing. will my kids still be the nature loving, barefoot walking in the creek, frog holding kids once they live in town? am i trading this for convenience? change is hard. i don't do it well.

we walked the creek. made foxtail crowns. caught tadpoles. 

if you ask h about her dog, she is a german shepherd princess. definitely a new breed of 3 year old loving dogs. i hope roo rocks the turtle backpack for awhile. j is a beautiful foxtail princess. i love, love, love, the one of d with roo. please let there be sun today. it's been too long.

busy time

time is flying. we celebrated harlow's 3rd birthday with a orange kitty/pony party. her 2 favorite things. then on to kindergarden graduation for reon. it was a big deal with speeches, songs and even letters read by the parents. of course the first mother had a 2 page poem to her daughter. i cringed at the thought of my barely legible paragraph i scribbled before bed the night before. i like to live dangerously. he didn't care, i am his hero no matter what. i love that. 

on to dance recital preparation.... of course i didn't know it was picture day. change in the lobby, grab my own camera and save $60.
